Let me introduce myself, my name is Lauren Gygi and my dream is to become a future educator. I have always felt that education is one of the most important paths to follow. For me, sharing knowledge and getting students engaged enough to be excited about learning  would mean success.  I have had the privilege of knowing truly great teachers who have made me realize that I love to learn and developed an appreciation for all that it takes to become a great educator. I believe that I have certain personality traits, such as the ability to interact with students, as well as patience to work one on one with those who struggle in a subject. It is most important for a student to feel comfortable enough to have open discussion while learning. Good teachers are as necessary as good parents to form future leaders. I hope that one day I will be counted among those who have made a difference and inspired others to want to follow the path of educating.
